Three years. Three years of his life that he had spent running away from the authority. Exhausting himself by using his power to see every possible outcome, to see every possible plan he could make and execute. All these sleepless nights, all this hard work at hiding and finding ways to work for a bit of money. All this blood sweat and tears just to be able to be free... Only to end up here. Where his family had been taken to, three years ago. He would have loved to simply fly to another country and escape all this hell for good, he was almost there. Ready to have a new life, new identity with his girlfriend... What he never saw coming though, which was really ironic, was that this said girlfriend was the one who betrayed him and sold him to the authority.



His wish to be in another country came true... But his freedom had been taken away. Now that he was in the facility, he felt completely lost. Everyone seemed so mean or crazy. He didn't even know where to find his family, if they were even still alive. As the young man walked through the hallways, he could feel the anxiety taking his stomach in hostage. Gabriel felt sick, lonely and... not going to lie, terrified.  He could only think about his little sister... Was she ok? Did she feel the same thing as he did? And his little brother? Where was he? Did he get in trouble? Was he also ok? The same thing for his parents... He truly hoped that they were all together and maybe having a ''normal life'' in this prison. 



Gabriel was looking around, trying to find a familiar face, It felt as if he was a new student in a massive school... He wasn't a brave man, well, not like his brother. He always thought that Nathaniel was the stronger one, was the one that had the right thing to say. I might have been in his head, he was also quick at comparing himself with others without really knowing what they were going through. 



Gab ended up sitting on a bench, watching people passing by, what was he supposed to do? He didn't have to go to work nor study anymore. He wasn't the popular kid, he wasn't the funny kid, he wasn't even sure if he was a person here. How awful did they get treated here? Would he have to keep both eyes open when going to sleep? Would he have to fight for food? Would he have to basically do everything that the guards told him to do? The more he sat there, the closer he was getting to an anxiety attack. God, he wished to have someone he knew beside him... And just like that... As if someone heard his prayers, he saw, or he thought he saw his brother at the end of the hallway, turning the corner.



Gabriel Clark got immediately up, trying to see the figure again. The young man started walking faster by the second, trying to catch up with the man. He had lost him. Where did he go? Did he turn left or right? He didn't want to use his powers, scared that he would somehow get beaten for it. He took a leap of faith and turned left, in hopes that Nate had taking the same turn. There he was! He could see his dark hair, he was talking to someone. Yes. It really was him! Joy filled the man's heart. Now he had to reach him, he had to catch his attention. He had changed quite a bit since three years ago. 



''NATE!'' The man half screamed as he tried to make his way to him. Why were there so many people in the hallway anyway?



''NATHANIEL!'' He tried a second time, but louder. Once again, it failed. Damn, was his brother deaf now?



''NATHANIEL CLARK!'' He screamed. It worked! It fucking worked! His brother seemed to stop and look around. He quickly moved his hand for him to see him.



''Here!''
